01

AI Strategy & Roadmap

From ambition to action plan

Many organisations know they need an AI strategy but aren't sure where to start. We help you cut through the noise — assessing your current capabilities, identifying where AI genuinely adds value, and building a prioritised, practical roadmap.

Ideal for: Leadership teams and boards beginning or rebooting their AI journey.

What we deliver

  • An AI readiness assessment that leads to key steps such as use case identification and business case development. A roadmap is created to guide the organisation in a sensible, people-led manner.
02

Change Management

Bringing people with you

Most AI programmes fail at adoption, not implementation. The technology can be perfect — but if people don't trust it, understand it, or know how to use it well, value evaporates. We design and lead the human side of the change.

Ideal for: Organisations deploying AI tools into existing teams and workflows.

What we deliver

  • Stakeholder analysis, communications strategy & readiness assessments are just some of the elements we deliver.
03

Deployment & Implementation

From pilot to production

Running a pilot is the easy part. Getting it to scale in a responsible way is harder. We manage the complexity — technical integration, governance, risk, vendor management — so your teams can focus on delivery.

Ideal for: Organisations scaling from proof-of-concept to enterprise deployment.

What we deliver

  • Programme and project management, strong governance and risk management are key elements we support you with.
04

Capability Building

Making your teams self-sufficient

Sustainable AI advantage comes from internal capability, not permanent dependency on advisors. We can design and deliver bespoke training and capability programmes that equip your people at every level — from board AI literacy through to hands-on practitioner skills.

Ideal for: Organisations building long-term internal AI capability.

What we deliver

  • AI literacy programmes for leadership, prompt engineering and tooling workshops and collaborative AI councils are just some of the ideas we bring to the table
05

Portfolio & Programme Advisory

Governance across multiple initiatives

When you're running several AI initiatives simultaneously, portfolio-level governance becomes critical. We provide the oversight, prioritisation, and dependency management to keep everything aligned and on track.

Ideal for: CDOs, CIOs, and transformation leaders managing complex AI portfolios.

What we deliver

  • Portfolio health assessments, investment prioritisation and reporting form part of this work.

Flexible to fit your organisation

Start with a diagnostic

Every engagement begins here. A focused assessment — Readiness or Performance, depending on where you are — that gives you a clear picture of what's actually happening with AI in your business, and a practical plan for what to do next.

Monthly advisory

Ongoing strategic counsel once the diagnostic is done. Regular sessions, tool evaluation, governance support, and honest progress tracking — so momentum doesn't stall after the initial work.

Transformation sprint

An intensive, time-bounded programme for when you need to move fast on a defined AI initiative. Embedded, on-site, with full accountability for outcomes.

Pricing is structured around defined engagements with clear scope and costing before anything begins. Every engagement starts with a diagnostic: a focused, deliverable-led piece of work that stands on its own merits, not a loss-leader to a larger commitment.

Compared to the overhead built into major consultancy day rates, we offer senior practitioner expertise directly. You work with our team throughout, not handed off to juniors or AI agents with occasional senior oversight.

If you’d like to talk through what an engagement might look like for your organisation, we’re always happy to have that conversation before anything is agreed.

Things people usually ask us first

How long does an AI readiness diagnostic take?

A typical AI readiness diagnostic takes two to four weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the business. The output is a clear, deliverable-led report with prioritised recommendations.

Where does an engagement with Futureformed typically start?

Almost every engagement begins with a diagnostic. This gives us all parties an honest, evidence-based picture of your current AI position before any strategy or deployment work begins.

Do you work with organisations outside the UK?

Yes. While Futureformed is based in London, we work with organisations internationally. Most advisory work is conducted remotely, with on-site presence arranged when the engagement requires it.

How is working with Futureformed different from a large consultancy?

You work with senior practitioners throughout — not handed off to junior staff or AI agents with minimal senior oversight. Our fees reflect the value delivered, without the overhead of a large firm's brand, process, and management layers.

What industries does Futureformed work with?

Our deepest experience is in financial services, creative industries, sustainability, and music. However, the challenges of AI adoption — strategy, change management, governance — are consistent across sectors, and we advise broadly.

Do you offer one-off advice or only ongoing engagements?

Both. Diagnostics are standalone deliverables with a clear scope and output. Advisory retainers and transformation sprints are ongoing. We scope whatever level of support makes sense for where your organisation is right now.

Not sure which service fits?

Start with a conversation. We’ll listen, diagnose, and point you in the right direction — even if that direction isn’t us.
